Alpha Lambda Sigma hosted their annual 93 Days of Christmas in Setters Lounge on November 21, 2016. The hosts of this event sported Christmas attire from antler headbands, t-shirt dresses with Christmas sayings and holiday pajamas.
Featured around the room were glasses filled with milk with your choice of an M&M, chocolate chip or chocolate chocolate chip home made cookie on top. In addition, table center pieces were placed around the room with fake snow decorating the tables, and a tea light candle in a mason jar in the center.
There was wrapping paper on the wall acting as a step-and-repeat banner where Santa Clause was located for any person interested to take their picture with him.
In addition, there was a gingerbread house competition. Each of the three sororities that attended, Nu Zeta Phi, Sigma Iota Chi and Phi Sigma Sigma chose three team members to compete. Twenty minutes were given and small gingerbread houses were constructed; some took form quickly while others, as shown in the featured image, collapsed. The winners of the contest were Nu Zeta Phi, and they received a Visa gift card that they can find in SDCA.
Alpha Lambda Sigma is a local sorority, and their next event is the Red Ball on December 1, at 9:00pm.
