Pace University is hosting their biannual Midnight Breakfast event on Monday, December 12, 2016. This event is co-sponsored by the Student Government Association (SGA), Chartewlls, Student Development and Campus Activities (SDCA), Residential Life, Residential Hall Association (RHA), Auxiliary Services, Special Events, Athletics and Human Resources. All of these sponsors work together from the planning stages to who will distribute what items to students whether that be at the beverage station or having everyone line up.
Students who choose to bring a perishable item create a separate line where they are able to get in first. The event is first come, first serve, but there is usually enough food for everyone. Midnight Breakfast will take place in the Kessel Student Center’s Dining Room from 10:00pm to 12:00am.
As meal plan cards run low, this is a kind gesture organizations and Pace departments make to ensure every student has sustenance for the night to kick off and fuel us for finals week.
The food usually encompasses a wide array of the most popular breakfast items. From eggs, bacon, sausage and pancakes to baked good such as muffins and pastries Midnight Breakfast encompasses it all. There is also a section where student can get fruit as well as beverages, last year the drink of choice was Vitamin Water.
